Centuries of Memory. Distilled Slowly.
In an era of synthetic speed and mass-manufactured alcohol sprays, Royale Aaroma stands as a custodian of authentic Indian hydro-distillation. We compose pure botanical perfume oils with time, patience, and copper stills.

The DistillationThe Deg Bhapka Process
A guide to the traditional Deg-Bhapka apparatus — the Deg, Bhapka and Chonga, with the Bhatti and Gachchi — how material flows through it, and what happens after distillation.
The BotanicalsSourcing & Ingredients
Noble raw materials from their historical origins: Mysore sandalwood heartwood, Kashmir Mongra saffron, wild Assam agarwood, and Misri Damask roses.
The Deg Bhapka Process.
A traditional hydro-distillation system used in Kannauj for producing attar. Aromatic material is heated with water in a copper Deg; the resulting vapour travels through the Chonga to a copper Bhapka, where it is cooled and captured in a carrier oil.
Bhatti: Controlled heat, guided by the distiller
The Bhatti is the traditional furnace that supplies heat to the Deg. Documentation of the Kannauj process describes it as brick-built and notes the use of fuels including wood and cow-dung cakes. Heating is supervised throughout the distillation process.
